Easy Overnight Waffles

These Easy Overnight Waffles are perfect for a leisurely breakfast. By preparing the batter the night before, you can enjoy freshly made waffles with minimal morning effort. The result is light, fluffy waffles that are simply delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt

In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined

It's okay if there are a few lumps

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the waffle batter overnight or for at least 6 hours

When you're ready to make waffles, preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer's instructions

Give the batter a quick stir to make sure it's well mixed

If it's too thick, you can add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency

Pour the waffle batter onto the preheated waffle iron and cook according to your waffle maker's instructions until they are golden brown and crisp

Serve the waffles immediately with your favorite toppings such as syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream
